I'm confused as to why this has not been thought of before. I've read in various places the suggestion to make The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway into a musical, but we all know it's not right for that kind of thing. Too mainstream and far too weird. People just wouldn't understand it! But I do think it would be really really good on stage.

Being a Drama student, I do a lot of abstract work and I love it. Now surely, SURELY this setting is perfect for Lamb! This concept album would make a brilliant piece of experimental/abstract theatre. I got the idea when we did Berkoff's Metamorphosis and I was drawing loads of links between the two, and that's what got me thinking. It is just weird enough to work.

I have just finished a draft of an adaptation. It won't get anywhere other than out of my brain, and onto paper, but I wanted to do it to prove to myself it can be done. And guess what, it is possible!

In my journey writing this, I have discovered that Lamb has got it in it to be a perfect piece of theatre. It can be Brechtian, it can be just plain weird. It does remind me a lot of Metamorphosis and also a lot of other plays in drama that I have done in the past. Maybe I can work towards performing it as a devised piece for my A2 level. It's been done before in the school with other albums, and this thing has enough techniques in it to get me and anyone who works on it a half decent grade.

Well I just wandered what you guys think. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway = experimental theatre. Oppinions please!

Ugh. Everything is so stressful right now. I'm doing the Threepenny Opera all this week, 2nd performance tonight aaargh! Plus I'm studying harder than ever for my A Levels.... there's hardly any time to do anything any more! I'm rediculously stressed about everything and on top of that I'm feeling ill. Ohh go me.

In other news, I can't go to Hyde Park Calling =( I have no one to go with any more. My friend Nathan was going to come with me but he can't any more because of money issues and now I have nobody. It's a shame. I really wanted to see Peter Gabriel and Aerosmith. It's a shame cos last year was so good!

I'm very bored right now. Very very very bored! I'm trying to organise accomodation for Hyde Park Calling... it's a nightmare! Especially on a budget.

So other stuff... I'm gonna be making a few v-logs about different music on my youtube account... so expect that in the future. I'm also planning on playing some more songs for that.

Rehearsals are going well for the show I'm doing (Threepenny Opera). It was a bit slow the first few weeks, but we only have 3 weeks left to get it right! Hopefully it'll be as freaky as we want it to be (so very, then). Went to see a play called the People Show last night. It was very deeply strange! Going to go see T Rextasy tonight (hopefully).

One of the bands I love dearly. I always seem to miss them whenever they're down so it'll be good to see them again.

Other than that I have no idea what to say so goodbye everyone!

I really can't believe that Snow Patrol are #1 in the top 500. Do people really think that Chasing Cars is the greatest song ever written? It only uses 2 notes and it's really boring!! Some people are morons.
