So E3 2007 in Santa Monica, California at the Barker Hangar occurred this past week [July 10-13]. Today was the finally day of E3. Cleanup now begins, as the Barker Hangar is stripped bare of everything E3. This year was different. The public was not allowed in. For anyone who doesn't know anything about E3, it's a week full of games from the 'Big Three' (Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony). Previous years, it was open to the public with sweaty game fanatics testing out the newest game titles, hot booth babes, and much more. This year, it was downsized to developers, journalists, media coverage and more. There were no gaming fanboys or hot booth babes, which is not E3. Many of the game production companies such as Activision and many others, were not even heard of or seen at E3. No cameras were allowed on the show floor, just media coverage at the media coverage location. You just had to trust the journalists to do their job and tell us everything E3. Hopefully E3 returns next year with much more, including the booth babes, weird game fanatics, and less journalists. Not saying that E3 wasn't exciting, it wasn't all that we expected.
