movie news?

hi all well its summer time again soon and which usually means two things. 1 its goin to be more crap weather an 2 theres goin to be plenty of good films out.

And to kick off the blockbuster season is wolverine. This is going to be fun and silly but if its the similar style as the x men movies then expect this to do well. I like hugh jackman and think he is very entertain too.

other films i think will be great will be transformers two, public enemies which is johnny depps new one with christian bale. Speaking of bale has anyone heard his on set rant in full? if not then check it out on you tube. Also i think the new terminate film will do well but i dont think it will be great as it has no arnie in it. Afterall he's busy bein all political.

oh speaking of DEPP rumours of him being the next villan in the next batman movie are getting stronger everyday. I f he does get the role then he'll be the riddler.

And Depp will be back as captain Jack in pirates 4 which is set tobe released in summer 2011. however there are rumours that RUSSEL BRAND will play captain jacks brother.

and thats where i have a problem, would you like to see brand in pirates 4? is he the right kinda comedian to be in family films? let me know and if you wann any more info on films you like to here then let me know.

So are you lookin forwatd to this years new films and what films have cought your eye?

Would really like to hear from you guys about the above.

Just thought i say WELL DONE absolute radio for the sony award nominations!

It just goes to show that Absolute is becoming the best radio station in the uk! I really hope they get all 7 awards but mostly hope Geoff wins as well as Christian too, surley his is the best breakfast show in the uk! but to be honesy my favourite dj is Geoff and it would be great to see him win.

This is just my opinion guys but to behonest ya dont need awards to know thar ABSOLUTE RADIO is the best station in the world!

hello to all VIPS new and old! Im looking for your opinion on who is really the best man to be the PM?! As we all know that the budget is really depressing and now ut all seams tobe getting worse! So what do you think shud be done about it?

I think it would be a great idea to have our say on what you all really want to here so i sugest that we all as VIPS and as citizens of the UK and say enough is enough!

What would you do to change the UK? Maybe set up a campaigne? Or march to number ten kick brown out and take contriol? I dont know my self but what i do know is that this cant go on anymore and its time to for change time for doing somethin a little more differnt and be positvie?

I recently brought the new U2 album which i honestly think is a prity good album.However I am not the biggest U2 fan in the world but I do enjoy most of there stuff and my favouite song is Where bthe Streets have no name. But heres my thought and i've asked the same question to all my mates.

How big is U2? I mean they have done very well for themselfes in nearly 30 years, but the only thing that gets me is Bonno tring to be a peace keeper and somtimes hes more political then entertainer. Thats his man job to entertain an audiance and be less of a tutour and lecturing their audiance on how bad the world is! I like the guy and he does write a good song but when hes talking to world leaders about polotics then surly he must draw the line.

So heres my questions to you and please feel free to be honest.

1 How good are U2

2 Do you think Bonno shud preach about world affairs?

3 wats your favourite song?

So there you go guys just a little something thats been on my mind and to be really honest i think there new album is beter then the last one but not as good as Joshua tree.

Oh by the way does anyone know wats happening with Noel gallaghers solo album? i heard rumours but just that. so any help with that would be great

well wat on earth has happened since my lost blog. well last week was the brits and what a joke thaty was. I mean Girls aloud winning song of the year! What was all that about?! clearly its obvious that the whole awards are fixed and is far too comercialised! Its sad to say that but yes it was a great night for british music even though some of it was processesd nonsence but was glad to see Pau; wheller and Kings of Lion win. So VIPs do you agree with me? Are the Brit awards fixed and who really does care about the awards? Let me know guys love to hear yr opinion? Take care for now STU

ATENTION all music fans! for the love of music plesae lets make jeff burckly number one. as it is christmas i say if he can get to be nuber one then it will be a great victory against comercial music and simon cowell. lets not forget even if the X factor winner (who i have no idea who it is and dont really care) wins it will only be a victory for cowell. As he already owns the show he might as well get more money out of it. So come on guys let Jeff Burkleys version be number one and lets have a great christmas.

well first things first recently i have heard a rumour that blur were making a come back? Could this be true? well aparantly it is, so in a way i honestly think this is a bad idea. Firstly because i dont think any onw would be really interested in them any more well lets face it music has changed and with bands like the killers, the fry, script, snow patrol, kaiser chiefs and even Oasis it will be difficult to keep there popularity. Although it would be nice to have repeat actions like 1995 with Oasis v Blur, although now i still belive Oasis would beat them. Speaking of Oasis i would like yr real honest opinion on them, after all there still my favourite band but sadly i was slightly dissapointed in their new album. So what do you guys think? Would you welcome back Blur and am i right with Oasis. However i still cant wait for next year with the festivals and Oasis.s live stadium tour, oh whos going to the manchester gig. Anyway thats enough of me but only to say hope to hear from you soon and take it easy

well what can i say but since the O.C played the new Oasis single alot of people have changed there minds about oasis! a few weeks ago i mentioned in another blog tha oasis are still better then coldplay. alot of you dissagreed on that and fair play to you fpor being honest. so i was woundering now that since the new siongle was played yesterday and the new tour and album comming out soon how many of you have changed yr mind?

so i'll ask again who is better oasis or cold play?

i'd like you all to be honest and say what you think.

also can i just say last night i heard a great oasis V festival set! ok ok i know it was three years ago but it was still amazing!

i really cant waite nfor this weekend to really kick off! this years V fest will be awesome maybe the best yet?

sad and shoking news today if you dont already know then its sad to cay that the great funny man Bernie Mac sadly past away last night.

many pepole would have known him for his apperiances in oceans 11, 12 and 13. also in other films like transformers and charlies angels. but i will remeber him by his comedy and his stand up shows which were some of the funnyest things i have seen!

so it might be a very sad day but for all you bernie mac fans out there please rember his comedy and his jokes. so here to bernie mac as actor Don Cheadle says "heavens just got funnier".

its very ware to see something that you and over people around you to witness something really amazing! so amazing and wounderful that you would not see again in a long time.

well on saturday night i and many others witnessed something like that in my local cinema....

me and me mates decided that we'd go to our local cinema and decided to see the new batman movie just to see what was all the fuss was about. even though the film was over two and a half hours long it didn;t feel it because the story was great as was the script and the acting was fantastic, christian bale did a great performace and michael caine was great too not bad for an old bloke really. however for me and like the whole cinema agreed that heath ledgers performance as the joker was realy the best i have seen in a long time! for me he had everything great timing looked great sounded sinister devious evil but just thantastic! as soon as he enters an sceen you just knew you was about to see something amazing!

of coures you did and ledger really did get into the whole part and i enjoyed it he looked and sounded amazing really gave you a tingle down your spine! he made you really angry about the joker really wanted to hate him and thats why i think he did a briliant job at it. he convinced me and the audiance that he was the joker and not just a charecter he played the part brilliantly with passion and anger in his role!

sadly thogh he is no longer with us and i belive that, that is the role that the world will always remembering him by so in my honest opinion ledger was a fantastic actor and possible would have been the greatest actor of all time! already there is talk in hollywood about ledger getting an oscar for his performance but is that really enough to honnour and celibrate a talent like him? how about a star on the walk of fame of a memorial but i do know this, that he will always be rembered asnd i think that is one of the highest honours that could possibly be! so congragtulations mr ledger you did a fantastic job you will be missed so thankyou for all yr creativnes.

i hope you guys will apretiate his talent and even though he might not be your favourite actor or the fact that your not a batman fan, go see it! go see his performance anf then i think you might understand of the talent that was mr heath ledger.....

i love films perhaps even more than music thats even probably why i'm a small film director with alot of creative ideas. i like alsorts of films action drama comedy sci fi gangster western just everythin realy! so i'd like to hear from you gus about yr favourite films and what they mean to you? my all time favourite is schindlers list, and i'll tell you why in my next blog! sorry for going on an an but it had to be said. hope you enjoy reading and let me know what you think so tell me yr films and why and what did you think about the dark knight and heath ledger?

hi guys back again for my second blog! and this time i thought i'd start of with football. sorry if its not everyones thing but jusy have to have a quick mention about virgin radios own fantasy football. i've created my team (have you) and iu have to say that my team looks solid and hope to do well.

right last night ben jones played a sneak preview of a future single from oasis's new album mixed by the chemical brothers. to be honest it sounded ok not what i was expecting to hear but thats the chemical brothers for you. anyway as a huge oasis fan i rteally cant waite to hear the first track and to get the new album too! i still say there still the best band around and far better then coldplay!

does anyone agree or diss agree are oasis better then coldplay/ like to hear from you lot about that, all so i was watching again some of this years glastonbery which i thought was the wrost one in years! but i was really liking elbow and the song " ONE DAY LIKE THIS" think thats a great song and shud be played on air, have a listen to it i think you all will agree its a great tune for the so called summer were having! well thats me for now more soon so keep listeniong to the mighty virgin radio cheers

hi how are you all hope everyones had a great weekend? this is my first blog so i'll start with some thing about me. firstly i love music at the moment i'm liking the new kid rock tune( who doesn't) and the tin tins are sounding great too. i'm still a big fan of cold play and the mighty oasis too! can't waite for there new album and als i like coldplays newe stuff too.

does anyone like the free track from coldplay? i'm stiil 50/50 over it but the album is top quality! anyway thats the kinda stuff i like oh and ofcourse virgin radipo is the finest quality statio around aswell and ben jones is clearly the best around too.

so thats my music and would like to hear from you guys aswell. take it easy and talk again soon bye for now!
