currently i am learning astro man by jimi hendrix and also doing some hawkwind such as urban gorilla and spirit of the age. astro man has GOT to be the best hendrix track ever but i can understand why it dont get played on the radio. but its just so funky.......i got to play it ....

Big northern green gathering

Hi everyone . August was great this year as i got a chance to in to the northern green gathering near Ripon in yorkshire . This was a green festival its brother being the big green gathering in the south . The northern green gathering was a smallish festival with maybe 2000 people . Everything is powered by the sun or the wind including the music. anyone been this year please get in touch ! i played by the main fire most of the time . At the moment i am working on spirit of the age and urban gorilla by hawkwind with my mate who plays guitar as well . He went and slept in a hammock ! I slept in the robin and was dry . It pissed down about half the time but on the whole it could have been much worse . Of those who played giya and mabel blue were great . But the aussie from schnews in the campaign tent was the best musician i had the pleasure of playing music with at the big green gathering . Anyone else been to any festivals this summer ?

Is it just me or have other people noticed more internet based traffic . I have had more enquires from my site this year compared to last year anybody else noticed this . Hopefully all paper advert will be rendered obsolete wasteful and internet google usage the market leading advertizing solution .

Hi everyone ! Yet another blog . I want to know if anyone remembers our gig wait 4 it in the ,,, Royal Albert Hall . 5 nov 1999.. Yes i did play there and sure as eggs is eggs there were the best part of 4000 people there . So someone MUST remember . We warmed up for (with London School Of Samba) Gilberto Gil chico buarque caetano veloso gal costa elsa soares virginia rodrigues and special guest georgie fame . Now good people may the Lord strike me off the face of the earth if i am lying ,-,,,,,,,,

Why no 1984 here!. A very special year 4 me as i lost all my friends in bermondsey london and moved to frodsham in cheshire. Still one day i will be rich enough to invite all my friends from all over the world for a big party .

That night we warmed up 4 the stereophonics jimmy page and the black crows roger talor et al and john mac enroe was compare. This was a charity gig 4 task brazil and i played 4 Quilombo do samba. Anybody who remembers this night will know how good it was,,,,,,,,,,

I drive a reliant rialto se 1987 model . I would like other listeners to blog about their reliant moments,,,,,.yes indeed it was a nice one,,,,,.anyway a few questions,,,. Max mpg mine about 70. Max speed 85+ is it immune to congestion charge? If not - why not? When are the chinese going to start production?

Anybody seen Jools holland and his band ? I saw Jools in Warrington last month . The parr hall was packed and people were moshing and singing along . Mark almond did his thing and then Jools holland went an played guitar . Twas an orange telecaster i think an it was dead gangley like the clean tone of a 335 gibson . Everyone comment on Jools holland and say what happened during the gigs,,,.,,,,,
