Unashamedly I am an old Bas***d. Though I'm glad to see Paul carry on with the music and not rest on his past achievements, In my heart the Paul I'll remember and love the most lives between 1961 and 1978. Awards and accolades are all well and good but the Rock & Roll was over after 1978 for this man. Oh yeah I'll keep buying the new McCartney records (Memory Almost Full is grand) and hope they retain their old lustre. Yes, homegrown is the best by me.

When will the WELLER make it to America for a much needed show?

I'm a record store owner in Cleveland, Ohio and I absolutely NEED to see a Paul Weller show without the Jam. His solo work is well worth his making the effort and coming to America to let have a bit of the talent!!!
