As Near to the Real Thing

I posted a blog last week about the terrific Rocumentary film 'It Might Get Loud' about messers Edge, White and Page.

This week I picked up a CD 'Live at the Greek' which brings together Page and The Black Crowes from a live show they did. I have had only one listen but I am mightily impressed. The band gel superbly with Page and so many Led Zep classics. In my opinion they manage to pull it off, especially Chris Robinson, whose raspy bluesy vocal comes across really well. No mean feat to sing Plant numbers but Robinson clearly does it in his own style rather than try to emulate the man.

Here's a classic to demonstrate what I mean!

Thanks Nigel
