ticket purchasing has never been easier! legendary!!! i loveabsolute radio-i love it, i love it!!! (oh loved them before this as well!!!)

got the oasis tix again last month, this time i was sooo lucky to randomly renew the page at the very moment they added the new day, otherwise i was not gonna be able to buy them! in any case the battle of britpop's back!!

i just can't wait till july-this is such a dream!!!

i got oasis tickets but what a NIGHTMARE that was!!!

oh god! i sat here at 8.45-constantly calling virgin, trying to get tickets on 2 computers.. there was absolutely no way!!

i truly despise those ticket resale companies right now, i believe that ticketmaster's NOT SO brilliant idea of max 4 tickets is working very well.. i mean there are many companies and probably with many staff..

watch this-tomorrow there will be ridiculously priced oasis tickets everywhere!!

at some point when every window i had opened returned this stupid page saying i should keep trying-i magically got two crappy seats for friday, i had 2 mins to decide, 3 mins to fill the card details, 1.45 to fill in my address.. i was not even sure if i wanted those seats but at that moment it was a matter of being there or not being there.. so i got them, i am not even sure if i should feel happy- I AM REALLY pissed off with this ticket resales issue..

everyone tells me oh you live in london, you get all those gigs BLAH BLAH! come here and try it for yourself, its a NIGHTMARE!!!!!

heath ledger vs jack nicholson as joker

jack nicholson is one of my favourite actors of all times.. he is simply amazing.. today i watched some of the scenes from the old batman to see which one was a better joker..

i think they are different, even the make up aspect makes a huge difference.. also i think jack nicholson's joker was a bit more funny, and less scary.. heath's is a a true psycho, even the tongue tick he got was v v creepy..nicholson's joker is more a cartoon, whereas heath's is more a character.. i can even claim that if there is to be some acting performance comparison maybe between cuckoo's nest or the shining and the new joker is more fair..

i hear ppl saying, they would never give a best actor oscar to a blockbuster like batman.. but i think thats unfair because joker is not like batman flying around behind a mask.. i think its a truly remarkable acting performance..

i (as the most indecisive person that i know at least) would say when it comes to the joker, i may go for heath's.. (maybe someone can convince me otherwise)

i saw the movie on weds, he was amazing.. now everyone is talking about him getting a posthumous oscar.. i think he deserves it more than anything.. but i think everyone is going to start gossiping about that oscar being solely based on his death.. the movie has made it to number 1 on imdb movies list as well (also ppl think thats because ledger died)

i think ledger has already proved himself by starring in a variety of movies and showing good performances in all.. its not that i believe in oscars-i can immediately prove my point by the fact that halle berry got an oscar with that monsters ball movie-i dont have to say anything else you can just observe her career after the oscar, even an oscar did not help her-all she got was awards like worst performance in rotten tomatoes.. everyone knows she is not a good actress..

now that i started with the 9/11 oscars -that was also unfair for denzel washington.. he is a brilliant actor and should have won awards with many of his other movies but he unfortunately ended up getting a pity oscar.. i really like denzel washington and for that reason i dont want heath ledger to get an oscar..

ledger has shown a remarkable performance as joker and truly deserves an award for that but if everyone is gonna start saying that its a pity oscar, then i hope they dont give him one!!

i'll do things for you if you were born in the 80s (the 80s!)..

i really think this is a brilliant song! v much fun, whenever it starts playing makes you feel like dancing..

you remember the years of horrible tunes, repelling hairdos, ridiculous fashion-but still.. you have got to love the 80s!

which sort of introduces a dilemma for people who are v v uptight with their musical taste.. i think i do have a musical taste but you also have to have a bit of fun, let go etc. you cant spend a lifetime listening to jazz&classical music.. or can you?? (i know i cant!)

who wakes up at 3am, looks for websites for hangover cures even before having it! i do.. fine.. i had the multivitamin, the junk food, orange juice and a lot of water! seriously, according to all these websites i checked i should not have hangover tomorrow.. will see..

on a different note, i am NEVER having long island ice tea again.. that messed up my whole system! anyway, i started drinking very early so this is me waking up after 3 hours of sleep and realising i have to work tomorrow (and ppl say people do research cos they are lazy! phaah!)

ha! i heard a new version of this song when i was in belgium for the weekend.. the 'new' cover (more a copy with a couple of rap verses in between) is by a band called madcon (from norway) apparently they are very hip recently-i did not like it to be honest..

anyway.. the link here is to an older cover of the original frank valli&the four seasons version.. i love the video as well-the dances are great!! it is soo funky!! god only knows how many times i have listened to this song after i got back..

last night i had an outbreak about this kid rock song virgin constantly plays recently.. and decided to shout about it!! and in my shout i called the song cheap (well isnt it??) and said that i could not believe how it made it to vr's list.. oh well, then i thought maybe they would not like to see this in the shoutbox (i assume these go thru some sort of a filter)! it is there now, what a democratic platform!! am impressed..

ps. i just wanted to add this even if it does no sense whatsoever in this context.. these fingers of mine just decided on the marks of 100 students'.. this is the first time i ever second marked (you get to decide on the overall mark as well).. i feel sort of important, maybe not? i am not sure.. anyway i have to go do some research now (apparently thats what research student do!)

I just handed in my dissertation today! what a relief!! i am a master of science:)))

i am off till the beginning of october!! but have to find a place and move then maybe i can go on a short holiday
