I made a parody with Capcom's Megaman X4 game footage (Great video game but awful English voice acting and cut scene presentation) to an audio parody called Windows 95. Windows 95 is a parody of the old Airport 75 movie starring Charleton Heston in the Megaman x4 cast. Anyway it is slightly incomplete but I wanted you to watch and see what you think and comments.

Anyway link below...just a parody on how computers despite they are great and very powerful today can be so unreliable...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=J92weGJtFQM

Comments and views would be welcome!!!

REMEMBER the time when the race to be Christmas number one used to be exciting? Where many singles battle against all others to reach that covered number one spot? Seems like a bygone age doesn’t it?

Well with the advent of Leon Jackson , the recent X-factor winner going to be certain number 1 with Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey rendition of "When You Believe." (In my opinion it's rubbish cover and the original is so much better!)

I have an argument of Christmas number one's that are becoming pointless, a one horse race with no competition and is all not worth anymore in my opinion that is focused on made up reality produced music stars.

There are two main reasons for this, first the demise of the singles chart and the rise of music downloads, second is the rise of British Music Television Talent Shows mainly by the X-Factor in the last couple of years.

First reason, the former has meant the power of the single to both consumers and record companies has waned dramatically in recent years, with music buyers no longer buying CD singles in their droves – instead filling up their iPods and mp3 players from both legal and illegal sources. With this the singles chart is really now dominated by downloads alone...and not many people by CD singles. Like myself I do not buy singles anymore and rather buy albums (I do not download music much) Music companies now just mainly focus on concentrating on album and download sales as it affects a band/single/performer etc. on the music competition scene. I think really the CD singles chart should be rethinked or there will be no CD singles charts anymore.

Second and the most prime reason the Christmas Number 1 has been a demise and now a one horse with no competition is X-Factor. X-factor, the popular British music television talent show in the last couple of years powered by the unstoppable rise of Mr Simon Cowell (successfully moving on from Pop Idol) Has changed the way how the Christmas number one works and effectively in my opinion ruined this old tradition of the Christmas number 1 race as a battle between many artists.

I think the last three years of Shane Ward, Leona Lewis and now Leon Jackson all X-factor winners. Has meant the race to be Christmas number one has turned into a depressing one horse procession. I think the X-factor personally has ruined the Christmas number one race in the last three years...where the winner is almost guaranteed to get that number one post. Often, it leads an artist to go to bigger and better things which I totally agree is good. But I do not agree that you have to use reality television shows to get Christmas number one and to produced worldwide talent.

Probably again next year unless if something happens, the next X-factor, Pop Idol or other reality music television show will get number 1 next year. And this is technically not right in my opinion!!!

But I think the rise of X-factor in the UK and the rise of British music talent shows, really now there is no competition for other artists to step into the Christmas number one race. Effectively these type of shows are money making machines for television companies and production companies and just to rake in audience figures.

This is my main reason why I think I am unhappy the way how Christmas number one's are run these days and my main reason why I do not like watching the X-factor and even voting for the X-factor.

I think the Christmas number one should go back to where many artists battle against each other to get the number one spot and not reality television shows wrecking the scene.

But comments are views are welcome and you are free to agree or disagree with my opinions.
