First formed in 1981, the band, then known as Frust, reunited in 2003 as Confused5 to record their debut album "Out Of Confusion" as the 16th band to raise $50,000 on the internet label Sellaband.com. Ever true to their vintage roots, the guitar-driven Austrian rock quintet turns back the hands of time on “Because Of You” and the anthemic “Puppet Of The World”. Keyboardist Herbert Hopfgartner and Bassist Kurt Breidler deliver classic vocal performances while guitarists Markus Melms and Alexander Kranabetter prove that nothing compares to the real thing. The album was recorded in Soho, London, in November 2007, at Dean St Studio, and produced by Mick Glossop (www.mickglossop.com), an amazing producer who has worked with Van Morrison, Frank Zappa, PIL, The Waterboys, Sinead O'Connor etc etc. The man is a legend.

The musicians on the album were:
Johnny Scott (Van Morrisons guitarist/musical director for many years)
Liam Genockey (drums... Steeleye Span etc)
Tim Harries (bass.... Katie Melua, Brian Eno, Steeleye Span etc)
James Lascelles (keys/percussion/dulcimer.... Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Cockney Rebel, has played support for Rolling Stones etc).

What a beautifully talented bunch of musicians!!!
