While out yesterday afternoon, I was at a local department store, trying to get some Christmas shopping in while the girls were at school. I was trying to cram as much into the 3 hours I had when i walked by something that caught my eye. A young couple was in the picture frame section looking to get a frame for a picture they had, when I glanced over, seeing a picture of an elderly man proudly wearing his medals, beret, poppy with a caption they had placed on it saying our hero. I felt the tears well up in my eyes, really I did. What a way to bring me back down to earth and remind my of what is important not only today as we celebrate Rememberance Day, but everyday! I only wish both my Granddad's were still here, so I could hug then today and let them know that I am thankful for what they both did during WW1. So as the say goes, Lest we forget..................

On Saturday we attended my brothers birthday party. On our way over, we stopped at the Liquor Store, see here in Canada, you must go to the Beet Store or the Liquor Store to buy your favourite tipple, you can not get it a the grocery store or the corner store. I sent my hubby in to get some Guiness, my brothers favourite drink. After a few minutes he appears with some Sagres, Portugeuse beer. When I question him he tells me that he could only find Irish Guiness, not English Guiness, and wanted to get the real deal for my brother. Oh how I laughed at his red face when I had to tell him that it was made in Ireland, and lets just say he was the laughing stock of the party! Oh how he makes me laugh!!

What is going on?

Hello all! Well as some of you know i have 2 young grils, the younger of the 2 started school this week. I am just getting ready to drop her off at school now and for the first time since Marley jr started school 5 years ago, I have a glorious three hours to myself, whatever shall I do???? I am sure my hubby will say that I should have tidied up the house, but that can wait until my next day off!! Well off to school, then I think to the mall! Good evening all. I was having a talk with my 4 year daughter Kendal earlier about her day at the grandparents. My in-laws are Portuguese and during they day they speak in their native tongue. I was asking Kendal what they all did today. She replied by telling me that as she woke up from her nap that they were talking to each other. I asked about what and she said that she was not sure what they were talking about, when I asked her why she procedded to tell me that it was because "they speak French Mum!! I nearly fell over laughing. Out of the mouths of babes.....

Due to pressure, and yes you know who you are ;), I give you Cuba, December 2007. The trip was pretty uneventful, loads of sleeping, eating and drinking, which suits me just fine. Here's a few shapshotsThis is me and the girls with your favourite poolside bartender Pedro.This is the beautiful view from our room, it was much nicer in person.This is Kendal looking all proud after belting out We are the Champions for the whole restaurant, literally!! INSTALLING HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a

distinct slow down in overall system performance -- particularly in
the

flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend
5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs,
such
as
Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable

programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation
8.0
no
longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've
tried
running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while

Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: "http: I

Thought You Loved Me.html" and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't
forget
to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as
designed,

Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0
and
Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0
to

default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is
a
very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in
the
background that will eventually seize control of all your system

resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0
program.

These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited

memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider

buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We
recommend
Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

I took my girls Marley and Kendal to the Falls with my sister-in-law back in November.
