SOUL NIGHT in Newport,Shropshire - Fri May 22nd 2009

All funds to McMillans Cancer

The soul night is Friday 22nd of May.
There is a bar- Bar until 12.00pm

Tickets are £10.00 each
DJ Mr Gee (has a soul record collection of 15,000 DJ for 25 years +).
Venue is at the "Newport Cricket club".

Directions= A41 towards Whitchurch over A5 island turn left at next island A518 towards Telford. 1 ml. island turn right to Newport.
You will come to outskirts of town the first bollard in middle of rd. is on a cross roads turn right here. Follow this rd. to end 1/2ml cricket club is on right hand corner.
Proceeds are for charity Macmillans cancer trust and 2 other local charities.

There are also 12 lads cycling the length of the Pyrenees for the charity end of August this is just one of their fund raisers.

Car Fuel co2 Saving Tips For Peter Greenies

Driving or Riding To Save Fuel:

Try to avoid using your car for short journeys.* (Try piggybacking on your friend).

Plan ahead - choose uncongested routes, combine trips, car share. (Use Public Footpaths fields,canal tow-paths or the canal itself - if good at rowing).

Cold starts - (Clear all Screens for vision in winter) Drive off as soon as is possible after starting. (once 2 wires touch & it fires up,wheelspin off - Thieves only).

Drive smoothly and efficiently - harsh acceleration and also any heavy braking have a very significant effect on fuel consumption. (Go slow once stolen & clear of target area).

Driving more smoothly saves fuel. (Also keeps suspicions of coppers at a lower level).

Slow down - driving at high speeds significantly increases fuel consumption. (Watch out for Policed Speed Cameras).

Use higher gears as soon as traffic conditions allow. (Get car to hidden Garage/lock up,owner of car may have called Cops by now).

Switch off - sitting stationary is zero miles per gallon. Switch off the engine whenever it is Safe to do so. (Before stripping parts as the exhaust etc may burn skin).

Lose weight - don’t carry unnecessary weight (go on a flash diet).

Remove roof racks when not in use. ( These can be sold relatively safely at a Car Boot sale the following weekend).

Regular parts servicing - Will help keep the vehicle at it's best efficiency. (Try to find cd/mp3/radio code written on Handbook or rear of sun visor-when located copy onto top of the set).

Keep the pressure up - make sure the tyres are inflated to the correct pressure for the vehicle.(they will sell easier than if left to de-pressurise).

Do not compromise safety, but be aware that the use of onboard electrical devices increases fuel consumption.(do not use Cutting devices through Cigarette lighter socket).

Check your fuel consumption - it will help you get the most from the car. Changes in overall fuel consumption may indicate a fault.(Don't take gallon Petrol container to filling station,Use the fuel already in tank for torching vehicle - be careful with matches)

Use air-conditioning sparingly - running air-conditioning continuously will increase fuel consumption significantly.(take car from garage or lock up to open field or Chav estate before torching).

Use A Moped,Scooter or Motorbike if possible ,especially for commuting in good weather. (great for getting away over fields if on a Trail or Motocross style motorcycle)

Use public transport, ride a bicycle or walk.* (alternatively,hail a cab - then go out & get your selling done in well protected hard gangster pub & get pissed)
