what a sad for all floyd fans,,,& music fans in general,.. another great man of music has passed & will leave a great hole...have been listening to some of ricks music through the various tribute blogs...& love every one of em...just brings home what a great band floyd were....i use the word `were` because now there is no hope of a reunion gig....after our hopes were raised after live 8...such a great pity they could`nt bury their past & give us one last show,, would have payed the earth to see em all 2gether.. lucky i got to see em twice..(thou not with waters).. & they were about the most awesome concerts i`ve seen..... so me thinks we should celebrate the man will leave you with my fav track from floyd..richard on lead vocals with gilmour http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rI67mMsl-Dc enjoy

why is life so goddam difficult....

the choices we make,no one else`s fault,

any wonder it looks better from the bottom of a malt,,

what happened to the good news we heard at ten....

instead war/hunger/disaster & murder again,

the price, another kid in a box,life deceased,,

no disipline in school,the kids rule...

no punishment,our hands are tied by the government,

sorry tried not to get involved with this lain lee being the worst dj ever thing .......

but enough is enough....i`ve not listened on a sunday for ages because i think his show is total ..****...just mostly morons making silly noises down the phone...... COME ON VIRGIN....wheres the music gone ....have had to turn the volume right down cause it just really annoys me.....

whats worse is i`ve just listened to another great show...amy macdonald live in the vr zoo....what a great girl she seems to be...very down to earth & talented to boot....then they give us lian lee..???!!!

& now i find out he`s standing in for geoff next week..????!!!!! well that really takes the biscuit...

good radio stations are hard to find...

but for me only one springs to mind,,,

The station of choice is of course virgin....

why..?.classic music & new bands it`s merging,,

been with em since the start in 93....

great music, great dj`s is the key,,,

leona, ben, geoff, neil,sarah, robin, & the oc...

though not to sure about this ian lee,,,

not enough music, too much silly chat....

virgin just was`nt built like that,,,,

not forgetting the grandaddy of em all, russ...

to listen to his show is a must,,,

he`s been with virgin since the birth....

15 years, he`s certainly made it his turf,,,,

& leona`s ohh so sexy voice...

certainly my lady dj of choice,,,,

with geoff & anabel bringing us fun at night....

think virgin has the line up just right,,,,

& with the great music they play....

real bands & singers 24 hours a day,,,,

the who, led zep, killers, snow patrol, & queen...

pink floyd, green day, amy macdonald & keane,,,

there is one moan thou, no placebo...

but fear not, i`m on the case, need to get heard thou,,

with enough names they`ll come to our station,,,

the website is also a great place to be at...

a young lad moved down to london looking for a job, he went to a big sales company...that sold anything & everything...

the manager asked him if he had any sales experience, ...to which the lad answered ..yes..

the mamager liked him so gave him a trial..& said he`d be back to see how he got on at closing time...

at closing time the manager came down & asked how many sales the lad had made.....to which the lad replied ...one.......just one said the manager, our people average20/30 a day...how much was it for ..he asked.....the lad replied....153,240...

the manager choked & asked ...."what the hell did you sell him"..??

well said the lad....first i sold him a small fish hook...then a medium one...and then i sold him a fishing rod......

then i asked him where he was going fishing ...he said the coast...so i told him he would need a boat, & sold him that twin-engined power cat, from the boat store,...he said he did`nt think his car would pull it ...so i sold him that 4 by 4 in the motor dept....

the mamager was gobsmacked, & said you mean to tell me ,.....

a guy came here to buy a small fish hook ...& you sold him a power boat & a 4 by 4.....

no, no, no, ...the lad said .....he came here to buy a box of tampoons for his girlfriend......& i said...............................................................................

well since your weekends fcuked, you may as well go fishing......

good morning to all, happy weekend to you,

been having a problem opening my e-mails for a month now..i`m with sky.com..at first i e-mailed them about the problem......& in their wisdom, they e-mailed me back..(but i can`t open the darn thing)...lol..

so i mailed again..telling them it is a bit stupid to mail me back without fixing the problem, & this was getting silly /bad service..etc etc.......so what do they do...???

yeah you got it....e-mailed me....aaarrrrggghhh

ok ..i`ll have to phone em...so did this morning...FOR A HOUR........if you want......press4....option 9 for real person...lol.. so gets through in the end , only for the tech` person i`d rang for help to put me on hold, cause he did`nt know what to do..??? whats that all about..??

so after a bit of running between me & his boss , has said someone will try to sort out the prob ...

& they wonder why we don`t like phoning cust service.....lmao
