I just remembered something... Remember a couple of Friday's ago after the Ultimate Virgin Radio DJ contest? Christian had to meet with the boss after the show.. (this is definately on the weekly podcast, but I dont remember if it was said during Friday's show) I bet that they were meeting to discuss booting Chris from the show during that meeting... I would bet $100 on it. I hope that Christian fought for his friend. They have been together for a long time. They even came over from XFM together... Sad days...

In case you were wondering where the old Drivetime host disappeared to, I have found out that he will be the new host on London's 102.2 Smooth FM Drivetime show. He will begin his new job on 26 March 2007.

I don't understnd why they did it. They killed off the newsman. The person who has been a faithful member of the breakfast team. The voice of reason. Why!??!!?!?!?! Chris Smith was a cool guy. He delivered the news and was an excellent sidekick/wingman and added to the comedic element. We will have to remember him via old podcasts where they sang out to a theme tune or they extra "HEY!" at the beginning. I guess that Brian was not joking... he was trying to take Chris' place.. Not cool Brian! Not cool.. Who will give us the Big Brother update? I should have known that something was up when they played the Good, Bad and the Ugly music and Chris' voice was not on the track... Grr...
