David Ford doesn't have a fan forum!! Why is this? Come on people, he needs your votes! His main website has been down for weeks and I need somewhere to talk about his genius. If you haven't heard of him, have a listen to some of his stuff on youtube or myspace, I *promise* you, you will be blown away. I have introduced him to pretty much everyone I know, and not one of them has been disappointed - they've all loved him, bought his albums, and come with me to see him live. So please, check him out, then vote for a forum for him!

If you like Duke Special, they're fairly similar - quirky, unique, stunning musicians, who play a miscellania of instruments superbly, and deserve so much more recognition than they're getting at the moment!

I've seen The Ford about fifteen times now (although I know there's people whose Ford/Easyworld gig count runs into the hundreds) and he has never failed to amaze me.

PS I've got the Killers album now and it's brilliant! 5/5, definitely!

My heart aches, I love them so much. I've been dying to get their album ever since I first heard When You Were Young, but I haven't had any spare money for months. Then Bones came out and I knew they were a force to be reckoned with - I've had Hot Fuss since it first came out, but was never *overly* impressed with it, although I enjoyed most of the songs - but now, with two singles so utterly fantastic you want to wet yourself with glee, I knew they had improved beyond belief. The clincher though, came with third single, Read My Mind. It's definitely a grower, but not on the same standard as normal grower songs (ie start indifferent then grow to quite like it) - the first time I heard it I loved it, more than the first two put together. Now, I'm a woman obsessed. I listen to the radio at work but have it on really quietly so as not to disturb other people, and turn it off when the phone rings. Whenever Read My Mind comes on, I forget I'm at work, turn it up and sing along, eyes closed, in heaven. If the phone rings I ignore it. I watch the video on Youtube whenever my boss is out, on repeat for as long as I can before he gets back. It's the most utterly fabulous addictive song I've heard for years.

And now, finally, I have the money to buy Sam's Town - the end of the day can't come soon enough, so I can go and buy it!! :D
