Just wanted to say hello to everybody here; all my friends on the Absolute radio website forum. So, countdown to the end of an era and the full beginnings of a new one. From 7.45 tomorrow morning, it officially becomes Absolute radio for real; no more half-and-half... I reckon this is definitely an excellent thing. Virgin was good but judging from the last couple of weeks, Absolute is gonna be like no other radio station on earth! The music is PHENOMENOL!!! Keep it rocking and have a great weekend! Sorry I haven't been around for a while; its been one of those weeks (well, fortnights really), not the best but hey, I'm still here eh and glad to see you all are too. Hi everyone,

just thought i'd post a message for all you fellow horse-racing fans and asbo vips, today is the last of the classics over the flat racing season; its the GREAT VOLTIGEUR ST. LEDGER at Doncaster today... ; I think the race goes off at 3.10 today (any tips anyone?)

Mine is ' Look Here' to win and a couple of outsiders I think could go well are Michael Stoute's 'Warringah' and A P O Brien's 'second string' horse ' Hindu Kush'. Anyone having a little tickle on today's classic, well, good luck and may all your hosses be winning ones ! Lotsaluv Cat XXX

So gets to upstairs landing and the voice of course was sam, fast asleep in his bunk bed, arms and hands waving about like some eccentric latin professor, reciting at an ever increasing rate of knots... ' Hand hand, finger, thumb...' (little hands and fingers and thumbs doing the whole shebang ) Hand, Hand, finger, thumb, hand hand finger thumb, hand hand thinger thumb, dum ditty dum ditty dum dum dum...', little face all screwed up and frowning like he was really concentrating; well rache and I (meanies or wot?!) we both just about collapsed in laughter it was just so funny to see this little lad sleep reciting Dr Seuss rhymes... we still tease him about it to this day.. of course at the time when we told him and we laughed like mad folk, he just gave us 'the look'; y'know, the one that cuts ya down to size in a breath? So I told him he was a little star; in fact, both him and his sister were a PAIR of STARS.. to which i got an indignant reply, ' Yeah, but I'm more PAIRY than Rachel Mum...!!! Kids eh, never know wot they'll say or do next... have a great Friday lovely asbo vips and friends. CatXXX

subliminal seussism

My youngest (aka muck magnet) Sam, he's as hooked on Dr Seuss as his nutty mum and big sister. One evening, after I'd finally got him settled, bathed, fed and watered and tucked up in bed and read the stories and said the nite nite love you a million times... goes downstairs to chill and have a drink n chat wi my daughter. A couple of hours pass by and i could hear this strange, plaintive little voice talking at the speed of light. So off I trundles up stairs to investigate, my daughter rache hot on my heels (she's so inqisitive.. well, nosy now she's 21...) and there was a sight that didn't make me guffaw, but guffIVE it was so funny (you had to be there, trust me...) next blogspace...
