I've sort of neglected things here for a while.

Anyway brief update of my life.

-Me and my boyfriend got engaged in November

-I passed first year and am now about to take my second year exams.

-I have a new job, I am now a part time youth worker for Stoke on Trent City Council and I love it.

-I'm annoyed that my uni's summer ball hasn't got a better artist than Zane Lowe playing

exams over and done with except for two resits for exams I missed due to illness and other resits if I've failed any of my others.

I got a job and then got fired 4 weeks later because I missed two shifts. one because I was ill and one because I had to sit in hospital until 3am with my boyfriend after he tried to kill himself and was having a mixed episode (He's bipolar). I couldn't sort out cover at 3am for my 10am shift I didn't get home till 4am and slept through my alarm so they fired me even after I explained what had happened. Although if that's the way they're going to treat people then I don't want to work there. so I'm now looking for another job... anyone in stoke-on-trent on here who's in a posistion to employ a law student with 11 GCSE's and 3 A-levels?... prolly not but I can dream.

Went to a folk festival in chester second may bank holiday weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. me and my boyfriend spent nearly £200 on new instruments.. we now have a flute, a violin and a melodiker to add to the electric guitar, the acoustic guitar and the bass guitar we've already got. we're now shopping for a cello and a french horn... both of which are bloody expensive but he wants to learn cello and I want to start up french horn again... I played it for 4 years in secondary school until I stopped to concentrate on my a-levels.

currently looking forward to: Brighton Pride, Moving in with my boyfriend, seeing Ross Noble in September and my 21st birthday also in September.

a)I spend too much time looking at animal macros (hence the title of this)

b)My ex needs to die slowly and painfully for a series of long and complicated reasons

c)My Chemical Romance are growing on me slowly but surely... I fear that I will turn into that most frightening of all things... the uni student emo.... this is not good

d)I should never have joined drama society (final night tonight now) I am tired as all hell aching in places I didn't know I COULD ache in and I can't sleep

e) I should probably spend some time doing actual work for the assignment I've got due in on wednesday

f) tenacious D are highly undervalued musically... they play BACH on guitar! AND they rock! wonder how many of this weeks top 20 could do the same?(anyone seen pick of destiny btw?)

g) I love going to the same uni that Lemmy went to... although I wish the Stokies would stop harping on about robbie all the time... he was good yeah ok, he is now less good. Motorhead on the other hand have consistantly rocked for many many years.

why is it that insomnia always kicks in when you know you've got to be up early the next morning.... 5 and a half hours till I have to trek down to london for a really important hospital appointment for my boyfriend and I'd quite like to be alive for it... urgh

getting to the end of my first year at uni doing law and it is waaaaay to close to my exams and I'm not flipping ready for them at all.... argh!!!! at least I only have to pass... I keep telling myself this.. strangely it's really not helping lol.

in order to distract myself I'm bugging virgin to play some counting crows for me... so far no luck but I'll keep going.
