When i first switched to the mighty V they had a 'feature' called the No Repeat 9 till 5... i say feature, it was more a part of the music policy...
For those that don't know it, and can't figure it out from its name... the No Repeat 9 till 5 was a pledge to the listeners that the same song wouldn't be played twice during that working day! BRILLIANT!!!
I was amazed, why didn't every station do that? it makes the radio so much more pleasurable to listen to! No chance of playing a song to death now!!
So why has Virgin dropped this idea, and decided to obliterate a handful of songs into oblivion? can they not sense the mood of the listeners? do they not hear the cries of "not this track AGAIN, i swear it was only played an hour ago"
As such, i am now starting a campaign... Bring Back the No Repeat 9 - 5
