Went to Wembley Arena on the 17/11 to see Alice Cooper, Motorhead and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, awesome night out. During Motorheads set I looked up into the seated tiers and saw one Melanie Sykes in attendance, then just before Alice came on Joan Collins joined her. Now I know all types of music appeals to all types of people, but Joan Collins at an Alice gig... I'd like to have seen her reaction to him hammering a stake through a baby! Miss Sykes seem to have a great time though, up and dancing with the best of 'em. Good on ya girls!

I understand that people have different ways of looking at things but in my opinion putting Snow Patrol on between Pink and the Foo's was spot on. As I was down towards the front at Chelmsford for all three, it was good to have a bit of recovery time before the Foo Fighters wound everyone up again (excellent acoustic set on the C4 stage - 606). And thats not to take anything away from Snow Patrol cos I thought they were brilliant, and there was enough energy being exerted around me for me to know that I wasnt the only one that thought they were great.

And maybe, just maybe, people were not "leaving" but going to stock up on beer before the Foo's hit the stage! After all, you could see and hear the stage from the bar.

All said and done, I cant say I saw any performance that was off, even artists that I'd previously not thought much of.

End of day - Live music Rocks!

Just got back from V at Chelmsford and it was THE BEST!! O.K. there was a bit of rain but it were'nt as bad as what was forecast, and hell what did it matter anyway. Cracking line up and I was sober enough to remember it all. I hope everyone else had as good a time as I did, tho I do suspect there are some serious hangovers kicking about.
