About to go to the mall food court with some other people from work, as we all have errands to run. I'm a little mad because the gyro place is gone, though. Been replaced with something called Taco Time.

Okay, so if you can't tell on the right, I'm a filthy geeky anime fan (and I drew that one, which is why it looks a bit crunchy). I'm sewing a new costume.

The one on the right ... I hate pink, but oh, well. I really just want to make it.

I can't wait to get home tonight and get back to work on it, because it's actually shaping up to be one of my better sewing projects. Maybe I'm finally learning to sew well!

I wasn't hungry at all last night, but I'm starving now. I'm trying so hard to resist the urge to get junk food, but I'm not sure if I'll succeed or not. I sense impending failure.

Random people apparently love my comment on The Big I Am -- about having a smaller bottom than the girlfriend of the girl I like.

And I have it on good authority, too!

Only 10.15 here, but I've been promised bleu cheese burgers for dinner ... my friends and I are getting together for our usual Tuesday in -- dinner and watch Top Gear, Sarah Jane (both of which we download *gasp!!!*), then Bones and House when they come on over here. What are we going to do when everything goes off the air for the holidays and/or because of the writers' strike here??

It's only 3.30 here! Why??? And the part-timer hasn't gone home yet. She keeps saying she wants to go to the mall to buy some boots or something, but she hasn't actually done so yet.

Two more hours 'til I get to go home, and even then I've gotta run some errands first. I wish my errands and things would just magically do themselves. Or I wish I had servants. But if I could afford servants I wouldn't be working a desk job. o_O

9.30 AM here in the States. I just went to the doctor to get a shot in the arm, and it still hurts. My office is having a Thanksgiving potluck or some such silliness over lunch.

My grandmother is bringing me three jars of artichokes or something since I can't cook for more than two people and I missed out on being the one to bring in plates or a vegetable platter.

This is why I don't take naps.

Fell asleep at 1 PM here intending to sleep for 30 minutes ... it's now 3.25 and I'm supposed to meet some friends for dinner at 7, and then people are coming over *here* at 9.

I've also gotta finish cleaning up after my various caged pets, and got some art deadlines to meet ... which are now, erm, all three and a half hours away.

Must NEVER take naps ...

Now I'm just trying to rack up kudos while I wait for it to be time to go home. Also, some guy is in here hooking up a new phone for our part-time girl. What thrills!

I'm trying to think of other things I could do at my desk besides kudo-ing myself out:

-- Send weird e-mails to my family

-- Start writing a novel

-- Begin forming my plan for world domination
