There's a war going on in the Republic of Georgia. More details can be found at http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/08/11/georgia.russia/index.html ...

You see, it's simmilar to what has happened in 1921, when the independant Georgia was anexiated by the USSR. 20 years later, the same has happened in the Baltic states as well.

As Russia has very strong army and a huge ammount of guns, planes and nukes.... basicalliy, it's one of the strongest countries in the World in a military sence.

Also, it's a well-known fact that Valdimir Putin (ex President of Russia, now the Prime Minister) is not happy aboth the fact that Michael Gorbochov (the last President of the USSR) has released the suppressed countries from the USSR and it has ceased existing. Shortly, Putin wants USSR to happen again.

One of the countries that gained freedom due to the fall of the USSR was Lithuania.

And now, with this happening in Georgia... It's not too long until Lithuania gets attacked as well - after all, Putin wants USSR just as it was. I feel that the WW3 might be coming

Let's pray for the war victims in Georgia... That war is a warnig call for all post-Soviet countries. It's a breaking point, and, in a couple of weeks we will see what the future has in store for us.

P.S.: I have friends from Georgia. They aren't there now (they work as animators in Turkey), but thier families are. Gio & Paata, my heart is with you two, be safe. I hope Your families are safe as well...

How to be annoying online

1. Make up fake acronyms. Online veterans like to use abbreviations like IMHO (in my humble opinion) or RTFM (read the fucking manual) to show that they're "hep" to the lingo. Make up your own that don't stand for anything (SETO, BARL, CP30), use them liberally, and then refuse to explain what they stand for ("You don't know that? RTFM").

2. WRITE YOUR MESSAGES IN ALL CAPS AND DON'T USE RETURNS SO THAT EVERYONE HAS TO SCROLL ACROSS THEIR SCREENS TO READ EVERY LINE. ALSO USE A LOT OF !!!!! TO SHOW THAT YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT BEING HERE!

3. When replying to your mail, correct everyone's grammar and spelling and point out their typos, but don't otherwise respond to the content of their messages. when they respond testily to your "creative criticism," do it again. Continue until they go away.

4. Software and files offered online are often "compressed" so that they won't take so long to travel over the phone lines. Buy a compression program and compress everything you send, including one-word e-mail responses like "Thanks."

5. Upload text files with Bible passages about sin or guilt and give them names like "SexyHousewivesI," then see how many people download it. Challenge your friends to come up with the most popular come-ons.

6. cc: all your e-mail to Al Gore (vice.president@whitehouse.gov) so that he can keep track of what's happening on the Internet.

7. Join a discussion group and tie whatever's being discussed back to an unrelated central theme. For instance, if you're in a discussion of gun control, respond to every message with the observation that those genetically superior tomatoes seem to have played an important role. Within days, all discussion of gun control will have ceased as people write you threatening messages and instruct others to ignore you.

Hey there ;-)

I know I've been gone for a while - and a whole lot of changes have happened :-)

Let's try to sort 'em out:

1) I'm a redhead now

2) I belong to the University's Sambo and Judo team, and hold a second place in Lithuania's capital city Vilnius in the adult Judo tournament and a third place in the Lithuania's student Sambo competition, heavyweight categories both ;-) Oh, and a second place in my university in arm-wrestling (that'd be the girls' section)

3) I work in a candy store on my freetime

4) I have a cat now, she's grey with amber eyes and her name is Silvah

5) I don't have Internet access at home :-(

And many, many more stuff... I just have no time now to write it all ^___^; I'll tryit next time ;-)

Oh yeah, and my three favorite songs at the moment are:

Hi all!

Some people wish for more excitement in their lives... I, myself, regard my life exciting enough without other people interfering to make it 'more exciting'.

This morning, on my way to the University I got beat by a bum. In the center of the city non the less. Now I have a black eye - just because I refused to give money to that drunk woman... I told her that I didn't have any spare change, so she hit me. In my face. In the morning, among many other people, in a bus stop. Then she put her hand in her pocket and was about to draw something out of it (I suspect that it would've been a knife) - but I got lucky - a bus pulled over at the bus stop, and I jumped into it, not wanting to have any more problems...

I didn't call the police because I didn't want to be late for my exams - and, I didn't want to get hurt even more for staying there.

So yeah, I was pretty shaky at the exam, but it went well - some questions about investment funds and portfolios, some calculus on currency exchange - it was pretty easy, so now I'm calmer. I'm afraid to go home though - I'm still at the University.

But I gotta keep the stiff upper lip and go on. Because nothing should ruin the day (even an assault against me) when the day started when I red a note my friend sent me, saying "I love you"... I didn't think of him that way, and I haven't seen him for six months now - since our class' reunion - and the last time I saw him before that was on our graduation of 10th grade (we then split up into different schools), and that was 5 years ago... Life's funny in that way, huh?

Oh, and he works in London now ^__^ so yeah...

That's life, folks.

Weird and ironic...
