Johnny Depp is shooting a movie in Puerto Rico!!!! and met him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello friends! Hope you are doing great!! As some of you know, I love cinematography and when I heard that a movie was going to be made here in my country I started to do some research about it, you know, to make connections with the people of the industry. The movie they are shooting here is called "The Rum Diary" based on the novel of Hunter S. Thompson, a journalist that worked on a Puerto Rican English language newspaper called "The San Juan Star" in the 50's (by the way that newspaper closed a couple of months ago). I decided to go to San Juan, one of the cities they are shooting and I never thought I was going to meet one of my favorite actors ever, Johnny Depp! I went on Monday and Thursday and I took pics. Thursday was the best day of my life! When they finished the scenes they were filming, Johnny came out of the building and went right to us (the fans) and he shook my hand and quikly noticed my t-shirt (It has Jack Sparrow, his character on Pirates of the Caribbean). He smiled and I told him he is my favorite actor and that I would love to work with him in the future, he smiled bigger and nodded, then he continued to say hello to the other people. I have to say he is very handsome in the big screen, but he looks better in person! He is very kind and likes to share time with his fans. Every single day, when he finish filming, he take time to say hello to his fans. I admire that, because he is a very simple man. But Depp is not the only actor here, I saw Richard Jenkins as well, Aaron Eckhart is here too (the guy who plays Harvey Dent on The Dark Knight) but I haven't meet him yet. As you may have noticed, I haven't been around lately. I'm sorry for that but university is driving me crazy! I've been really busy studying and doing homework! I went to see Cindy Lauper live yesterday, Sunday November 9 2008! What an awesome concert!!! She is great live! I loved the way she treated us. She got down the stage to the audience and she danced with us! I'm still excited about it!! Even better! After the concert ended I stayed and with a group of fans we waited to see if you we were lucky to meet her. We stayed back stage like 10 minutes and we saw her walking to the parking lot. One of the guards of the theater told us "She is in the parking and she is going" so we went to the parking lot and we met her!! She was in a hurry because she was late to her flight so she had to go to get in the airport in time. She was very kind to us, she smiled and waved to us and the car was gone then. I didn't get an autograph but I had the chance to see her really near and she treated me real nice! I hope she comes again!!!!

Milhouse is the Elected Candidate to be the Governor of Puerto Rico!!!!!

Today (Tuesday) was the Election day in Puerto Rico. The candidate elected to be the new governor of Puerto Rico is Milhouse Van Houter from The Simpsons! Just Kidding, the elected candidate real name is Luis Fortuño and he looks like Milhouse from The Simpsons. Even his family have said it to him. I don't like this guy to be the new Governor for my country but that's the way it is. I didn't voted for him anyway. I voted for another candidate. Anyway, here some pictures so you can see it for your self!

I want to say THANKS to all those people who supported me on the T-Shirt competition. Some of you were really interested in the results, well people, I lost. I was really excited about going to London again but I guess it will have to wait... I feel a little bit sad but it doesn't matter. I'm used to lost competitions! LOL! I think I did good in the competition anyway, one of my shirts was in the 65th position out of almost 3000. Thanks to all of you. I want to apologize to all those VIP's who were mad for my constants blogs with all those artists tags, I'm sorry if I made you feel angry. I really wanted to win. It won't happen again. I promise. I will look for Photography competitions over the internet and if I enter in one, I'll let you know. I've already looked for Photography competitions but all of them are "VOID IN PUERTO RICO." That makes me angry, I mean, Puerto Rico is a little island and a lot of people doesn't know where it is, but there's talented people in my country as well! Anyway, this isn't the subject.
