Got tickets to see them at the MEN, Manchester on the 22nd of November, which I'm very happy about because I've seen very little live music lately due to work.

Anyone else planning on going to see them during the forthcoming arena tour?

An 'about me' post seemed an appropriate way to start my blogging life here on the Virgin Radio website - Which incidentally, I'm very impressed with. Used to use Myspace, but that gets very tiresome once you've left school.

Anyway, I'm 20 years old, and come from a small town near Leeds. I'm a die hard Leeds United fan (for my sins) and a season ticket holder. Leeds United would be the main love in my life, as I've followed them religously since childhood, travelling the UK and Europe to watch them play. I co-run a fansite called Leeds United World also (www.leedsunitedworld.co.uk)

Second love in life is definitely music. I know it's a dull and overly used thing to say, but I have no specific taste in terms of genre. I like anything from The Clash to Kanye West, but I would say my taste is predominantly Indie/Rock.

My favourite Indie/Rock bands of all time are mainly older ones, such as The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Clash and Nirvana. I think this was essentially because most of the music around when I was growing up was utterly shocking. The Libertines are the only modern band that tops the afore mentioned, and easily my favourite. I do like some other modern bands too, such as DPT, Babyshambles, The Shins, The White Stripes, The Strokes and Radiohead (if you count them as modern)

I love my Country and am very patriotic! We have an amazing heritage, which we should all be proud of!

I also love Oscar Wilde - The man was a genius!

Other than that, there's not much else I can think to add at the moment...
"It is a very sad thing that nowadays there is so little useless information." Oscar Wilde
