Is there anybody in this country who doesn't have that horrid cold doing the rounds? Good grief, my head is sooooooo sore and I feel awful... For all those sufferers out there, downing their Lemsip or Beechams All In One and drudging through work- best wishes for the day. I start my 11 hours shift soon, so I'll be taking enough Beechams supplies too!

I have been watching the England Rugby team in agony over the last few weeks and it has been PAINFUL! If they don't actually beat RSA this Saturday after beating my aussie boys the other week, and after all that effort, I will track them down personally and God help them! I will show NO mercy! I failed my practical driving test this afternoon. Now, due to the horrible incompetent system that England seems to THRIVE on, I now have to wait an additional EIGHT weeks before I can resit my test. FURTHERMORE, they tell you that you may call them to squeeze yourself in if there is a cancellation, and you call and press ALL the options buttons and when you FINALLY reach the correct section, there is no queue... they tell you they can't take your call, please call later, and then HANG up on you! Then you have to call them BACK! BT MUST be in cahoots with the DSA.... who doesn't have a telephone queue system in place nowadays? Good god DSA, join the 21st Century... PLEASE!!!!!!

Three Aussie guys were working on a high-rise building project - Steve, Bruce and Kevin.

Steve falls off and is killed instantly.

As the ambulance takes the body away, Bruce says, "Someone should go and tell his wife."

Kevin says, "OK, I'm pretty good at that sensitive stuff, I'll do it."

Two hours later, he comes back carrying a case of Fosters.

Bruce says, "Where did you get that, Kev?"

"Steve's wife gave it to me,"

Bruce replies. "That's unbelievable, you told the lady her husband was dead and she gave you the beer?"

"Well not exactly," Kevin said. "When she answered the door, I said to her, 'You must be Steve's widow'.

She said, 'No, I'm not a widow.'

And I said, 'I'll bet you a case of Fosters you are'."
