Hey folks, I'm off to see the Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium next month and I have been scouring the net for any ideas as to who will be their suppor, all to no avail! The 80's

Right I have been going through a real 80s faze lately and I thought that I would take it upon myself to get some opinions on the subject.

You see I have this very talented guitarist friend and we both share a similar like in the bands that we worship, however he says that the 80s were a decade that music should completely forget. I on the other hand feel that there were some great bands in the 80's that I find myself celebrating out loud during this 80s faze that I am currently in :)

Simple Minds, Human League, Psychedelic Furrs, The Cure, ABC, Tears For Fears, Echo & The Bunnymen to name a few. I'm sure I have forgotten to mention many others and so i would like to hear your opinions on whether you love dor hated the 80s and if you can remember other greats too!

Hey there my fellow VIP'ers. Just thought I'd ask if anyone has got the new REM Album accelerate and if so what do you think of it? After listening to it a few times now, much to the annoyance of my wife :)

I think its some of the best stuff they have done since Automatic for the People, if not better!

Right here goes, I would love to hear what everyones all time favourite album is. I am currently listening to Radiohead, (not everyones cup of tea I do realise), and I thought about how good OK Computer is and it got me thinking.

So everyone: What is your all time favourite album. The one you can listen to over and over again and never get sick of?

Mine is between the aforementioned OK Computer, also the The Bends, U2's The Joshua Tree and Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon ;)

And I think I can safely say my winner is The Joshua Tree. Pure Genius!!!

Hi peeps, not sure if this has been asked before but I was thinking about music in films this morning and I thought i would ask everyone for their oppinion of what is your favourite soundtrack to a movie?

Mine I would have to say is probably the soundtrack to Jerry McGuire. I often find myself singing out loud to tom Petty's Free Falling whenever I hear it!

I could throw in names like Keith Moon, John Bonham, Mike Portnoy, Phil Collins, Dave Grohl, Rick Allen. in fact the list could go on for quite some time, however mine has got to be the master Neil Peart. Especially after seeing Rush live a few years ago, I was blown away at that mans ability with two bits of wood and god knows how many drums :)

I have just heard on the radio that the Writer/Director Anthony Minghella has died aged 54. A big loss I must say. RIP Anthony.
