I went to the butchers, a man came in n straight out said 'I bet your taken'

yep I said

him: I thought so..

I tried to make him feel better by sayin i'm not that much of a catch I can hardly walk, he said You look fine to me

Thought others may like this just cos it shows a small compliment can make someone's day hehe I'm good at giving them but pants at accepting them, still it made me smile and will for hours haha

Anyone else got a compliment that cheered u up? If we get a few, people may give more to others and make their day too :o) Never know eh!

It made me think, what do you do that drives others mad?

My worst has to be reading people things out of the paper all the time! Hmmm I laugh too much, not a problem you'd think, but you try being in a bad mood around someone who just laughs hehe nightmare! Umm and I'm too honest! Known for it but it means I sometimes say something people don't want to hear. In a nice way but still.. Ok PLEASE ANSWER THIS lol or it'l be Marianne's Tuesday confessions!

You'l be glad to know I made the WHOLE weekend. Ended up with my tent right at arena entrance, hastily moved once a space was spotted on Friday night. I was up at the entrance red 3-miles to walk so I was aching by the time I made the arena till i moved :o). I took it really easy and when I was bad I sat in my tent doorway listening to Snow Patrol and Groove Armada, benefit of Arena entrance I could hear it fine hehe it may not be enough for some but it was for me!

Saturday night was Kasabian and Muse(slated by some but highlight from others apparently). My friend went to the toilet and left me infront of VR VIP bit, he apparently came back to find me but couldn't. I ended up really aching and couldn't walk much. Every time I crouched down some1 would fall over me(couldnt crouch at fence as its a toilet!) so I had to ask a policeman about transport back to my tent. He got a paramedic, I explained how I just needed rest and had my own painrelief, next up would mean hospital visit and I really really wanted to see the Stones. He got a St Johns ambulance boy to wheel chair me back to tent but didnt explaiin why. They were already walking a very drunk lost lady back.. 1 field up and he said oh i need to go elsewhere and need the chair so he got 2 security guards to walk me back, and the girl, who prompty disappeared. I had to walk like a blinkin tortoise and sit on the floor a fair bit, BUT the two security guards were amazing with me. I kept apologisin as felt so silly but they were so so patient and kind it was amazing. They even offered to carry me! Hmmm nice offer mmm haha but no i couldnt! We kept each other amused for the half hour walk :o) Not often I meet such understanding ppl. I was blown away.

Highlight had to be the Stones, I was back by the bar and had managed to get a bench so proceeded to stand on it and dance. Amy Winehouse did a duet with them, earlier in the day she was on her own and sounded brilliant but she definatley stumbling around :o) James Morrison still gives me goosebumps! For Paolo Nutini I had to rest back at the tent. I was down the front kinda, for the Fratelli's and they were awesome hehe the crowd around me singing at the tops of their voices to the favourites.

All happy to be back home not hospital, THANKYOU VR x

I'm off soon..

After not bein well enough,not havin tickets, havin tickets but no childcare..sorted that, then my mate had t drop out as has to work..yesterday i thought i might not get to go..New mate to come now so phew!

Hopin I don't speak to you all till Monday lol if I'm here sooner it means I've HAD to come home. Fingers crossed lol I gotta last the distance t make the Stones! They've not done a festval in my lifetime haha
