pimentelteixeira (and others) is right to suggest that Cameron changes his tone depending who he's speaking to - and probably to grab a few headlines - but 'do as you would be done by' pre-dates the bible and appears in some form or other in most cultures/religions. Personally I agree with George Bernard Shaw that you shouldn't as their tastes may not be the same. Going back to the clip, broadcasters like O'Connell love to bait politicians and politicans are fairly reliable at putting their foot in it whether intentionally or not. Does it make you tune in more or vote for them? Probably not but it gives you something to talk about for five minutes.

Oh for goodness sake its not that bad, twat is a commonly used word nowadays. People just like to make mountains out of mole hills. The papers are gonna have a field day with this for the whole weekend then we`ll get an appology from David. People who complain to ofcom and the "broadcasting police" are TWATS. Come on its not like he spoke the truth and called them sad bastards is it.

People need to stop moaning about this and get a life! As for david Cameron being on the OC's show too much. OC said that he tried to get our prime minister on the show but he didn't get a response! I say good on David Cameron at least he's human!! I know who I'll be voting for come the next election! Keep up the good work OC

I don't believe it's about the words he used, it's more why he has used them on this particular interview? Is it because his advisor told him that we're a bunch of idiots that like to swear? Surely we wouldn't hear him swearing on BBC, would we? And Dear Ashleigh, "Mr. Cameron" quotted the Bible but you didn't heard a word of what he said did you? That's probably why he rocks so much to you... He said: "Do to others was you would be done by", if you understand the meaning, I don't know, but if the half that disagree with his behaviour are not worth a damm to yours so called "other half", why did you bother commenting? Do you expect a different treatment? One way or the other, and even not being a twitter, I can understand his position... what he really meant was "the problem with twitter is the instantness of it, is aaa..., I think... is that... too many twitters made me feel a twat...!"

Made my toes curl listening to those two this morning, I think they call it 'blowing smoke' in America. Father Christmas is more real than 'Dave' Cameron....
