Our alternative live commentary line-up
In addition to Jim Proudfoot’s brilliant commentary on Absolute Radio, we’re also going to be doing special alternative commentary services on Absolute Radio 90s.
Top British comedians Mark Watson and Andy Zaltzman will take the helm for select England games along with Absolute Radio regulars Dave Gorman and Alun Cochrane. Irish comedians Jason Byrne and Andrew Maxwell will take charge of Republic of Ireland matches respectively.
It’s going to be like joining your mates down the pub – if your mates were stand-up comedians. It’s going to be kick by kick… but the kicks could be harder.
