Mark looks after the airwaves every Monday to Thursday evening between 8pm and midnight

Mark joined the team at One Golden Square starting off on overnights, but he’s now swapped the graveyard shift for evenings, which he relishes! He got into radio by doing work experience for local stations, where he made lots of tea and was sent out on to the streets of Manchester to speak to largely indifferent members of the general public.

He has been music obsessed ever since discovering his Dad’s record player aged nine, and his first gig was Oasis at Old Trafford – although his first single is far too embarrassing to reveal here (needless to say the cassette in question was destroyed a long time ago). Mr Jack's Birthday

Our friends over at Jack Daniel's are celebrating the big guy's birthday. Mr. Jack’s Birthday is all September long, every year. That’s because they’re none too sure when in the month he was born. But there’s no doubting where he was born. Lynchburg, Tennessee.
