Beatles: Revolutions

This event occurred in the past.

Absolute Radio 60s takes a look at the far reaching influence of the world's most famous group.

It is safe to say that every musician has been exposed to the music of the Fab Four at some stage in their lives. What sort of effect has the band had on their individual careers? Musicians Elvis Costello, Ronnie Spector, Ian McCulloch, Sandie Shaw, Wayne Coyne, Robert Smith and many more talk about their Beatles experience, along with the songs that inspired them. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Yoko Ono also talk about the magic they created.

The programme will be followed by a playback of The Beatles' 'White Album' (The Beatles), released on the same day as Absolute Radio 60s' launch, November 22nd, 1968. Find out more
