Nicknames

Have you gone through life without a nickname, but instead of feeling relief you feel empty? Well the Dave Gorman show is here to help.

Every week (on the podcast) we are asking people to email in pictures of themselves holding the sign I want a nickname. Dave, Danielle and Martin will then give their chosen applicant a nickname and publish their picture on the nicknames gallery.

The first person to be given a nickname was Simon Downey who lives in Kasakhstan. We gave him the nickname Sido Dido. Dave, Danielle and Martin got to Sido Dido from Kasakhstan to Kasakhdido to Fido Dido and finally Sido Dido. His picture is attached.

All you have to do is send us a picture of yourself holding a sign that reads ‘I Want A Nickname’ to chris.skinner@absoluteradio.co.uk along with your full name and date of birth. From this information alone we will give you your very own nickname.

Please note that we will publish the photographs of all those that are nicknamed on this webpage, so please only send in your pictures if you are happy for them to go online.
