OC's Apprentice, Confessions and a Private Detective

 
Well then, that was a hectic show!  Loads going on.  And as always we started with the 6’O’Clock Rock.  Christian’s the odds-on favourite to win now every morning in the Air Hockey Puc Off.  Richie’s a bit rubbish really.  So Kiss and Crazy Crazy Nights got you out of bed.  

Christian kicked off his OC Mix Tape and ahead of today’s Oscar nominations, it was you favourite songs from movies. 

In Confessions of A…?  it all started with a bit of quiet thinking and descended into mid-air skiing!
 



Next up! The Producer Challenge: it’s OC’s Apprentice.  Oh yes, friends.  He’s pitting his two producers, Martin and Richie against each other to see who gets the coveted DJ shift on our very successful digital station Absolute 80’s. So the boys have code names, it’s Captain Chaos and The Ginger Prince.  Here they are with the man who knows it all. 

 

 

Tomorrow morning, they may have costumes.  Oh Dear. 

It was Christian’s very first Ask A.. feature.  This week, Ask A Private Detective.  Leon Hart from an investigation firm in London came in with a GPS tracking device and told us all about his job, from crawling up driveways at two in the morning to tracking down people and saying no to bribes to fix polygraph tests!  Here’s his website. 

Mr & Mr comes to a radio near you from next week.  If you know your other other half well enough, you can win the missus some lovely goodies just in time for Valentines!  We gave two of the shows men Eddie and Andrew Bailey a test run of the questions.  What gem did that spit up?  That Eddie, the 28 year old, wears pyjamas in bed. 

In the 80’s Movies World Cup, Richie gave us the results of the Comedy One category.  But got it wrong because he got his colours mixed up from the online voting form.  Anyway, it was Blues Brothers.  And now, you have to vote in the Romance / Chick Flick.  Every vote counts!
