Closing ceremony brings an end to Beijing

london2012Preparation for the 2012 games really couldn't have gone any better, after the best Olympics by Team GB in over 100 years.

With so many highlights and returning heroes the expectation level has gone through the roof. And the good news is several of the competitors who blew us away with their Beijing exploits will be hot favourites again, with the added bonus of home crowds to cheer them on to glory.


To round this all off, the Olympic flag was handed over to London at the VISA London 2012 Handover Party in August 2008. We were live from the event, backstage with the likes of The Feeling, James Morrison, McFly and some of the Team GB athletes. You can check out the live interviews below:
