Owen to Man U -- thoughts?

A desperate punt by Fergie or a shrewd move?
For me Michael Owen on a free -- a man who's still averaging a goal every other game -- makes sound buisiness sense, particularly if he's on reduced wages.
He could score more goals than Tevez did last season...
We discuss this on the podcast today -- listen and post your thoughts below!

Vidic Mans up!

Russ Williams and I are rejoicing on the podcast today after Nemanja Vidic manned up and told his wife to can it as she's staying in Manchester.
The United defender told the Sun today that Ana doesn't like the lifestyle in Manchester.
BUT despite that and interest from Milan, Real and Barca he's staying to see out his contract!
A role model to us all, surely!?? Click right and have a listen....

Is Eto mad or just a p**s taker?

Seriously, the papers reckon the Barca bas ass wants a £12million (or ever 15 million) golden handshake to join Man City because 250 grand a week doesn't cut the mustard.
If you were Mark Hughes what would you do? Tell him to whistle dixie or cave in and pay the money grabber?
I'd tell him to get lost, because if not Man City will have to do it everytime they go into the market.

Ribery to ARSENAL??

We thought Zinedine Zidane had persuaded him to join Real Madrid.
But this Sunday the tabloids claim Wenger could bring Ribery to Arsenal.
Will discuss your thoughts Monday if you have any?
Could Wenger charm his countryman to come to the Emirates... maybe it's just possible... certainly would be a massive coup for Arsenal?
