Apparently, The Beatles used this studio because it had an eight track: Abbey Road at the time was only four-track.

On a little back-street in London's Soho, this is where The Beatles recorded Dear Prudence; where David Bowie recorded The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders from Mars; and it was also used by Elton John, Marc Bolan, Queen, Lou Reed, Genesis, Supertramp, and more.
