I think Teignmouth in general is Muse related, so the sea front is always a nice place to go. Also while they were preparing for the Absolution tour they practiced at Coombeshead College in Newton Abbot not far from Teignmouth (abouts 7 miles away) and apparently Matt Bellamy went to Coombeshead sixth form.
