Its the location of what was Percy Philips' private recording studio where The Beatles recorded their first record under their original name 'The Quarry Men' in 1958. It featured a cover of Buddy Holly's 'That'll be the Day' and 'In Spite of All Danger', a Paul McCartney and George Harrison composition.
