If Rock 'N' Roll were location it would most definitely have to be Castle Donington! This is the site of Britain's FIRST PURELY HEAVY METAL FESTIVAL!!!!! (okay so Meat Loaf played there but we can forgive one mistake!) All of the biggest names in Rock and Metal have played there from Iron Maiden to AC/DC to Whitesnake to Status Quo. So come on guys! Add Donington to the list, because as Whitesnkake's David Coverdale put it: "Donington isn't just an institution, it's a breath of life in today's world!" And who can argue with that!
