Bob Dylan's gig at Budokan stadium in 1978 caused somewhat of an uproar for Dylan fans. It was in effect a showcase of the reworking of his most popular 22 songs, to be released shortly aftwards. edit
In late November I had the privilege of seeing Seth Lakeman play in the Virgin Radio Zoo: what with him and Ray LaMontagne, there's a real folk revolution going on right now - singer-songwriters with simple production and lyrics reminiscent of early Bob Dylan. Dylan's still the master, though - still playing, still experimenting, still working. Amazing to think that Budokan was 28 years ago.
