George Ivan Morrison (Van Morrison) was born at 125 Hyndford street in East Belfast. Van and his family lived in this house from 1945 until 1961. In 1950 Van was enrolled at Elm Grove Primary School on Beersbridge Road, he then went to Orangefield School for boys in 1956.
