This is where Bob Marley performed a 90 minute set during the Smiles Jamaica concert, despite having been shot only days before. , Recovering in the Blue mountains, he came to do 1 song but lasted a whole set. , The Park is near where he had a home and produced some of his finest earlier works. , , Although it was seen by some as a political manipulation by the government at the time, Marley used the opportunity to share his message of love,,and the brilliance of his reggae music. , Kingston is one town with huge links to the musical genius, and Jamaica remains an island proud of her most famous son,,a real legend and well worth a rock pilgrimage.
