Although Neil Finn is a Kiwi...Crowded House were embraced by the Australians and their farewell concert took place on the steps of the famous Sydney Opera House. I should have been there! Australia is also the home of artists and groups that I have been listening to for years....Cold Chisel , Australian Crawl, INXS, James Reyne, Jimmy Barnes, The Eurogliders, Goanna, Dave Graney, Midnight Oil, Leonardos Bride, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia....to name but a few. Who hasn't heard of Sydney and doesn't immediately think of sun, sand, surf and s*x.....the perfect environment and seed-bed for free musical expression!
