Absolute Radio: Discover real music

I suppose enough time has passed that such laundry can be layed out to opened. It was hard to understand the liason of John and Yoko, and according to the contactmusic article George putting his pensive two cents in really angered Lennon. personally i am not interested in hearing them yell at eachother, but maybe it will help other bands put their personal lives in perspective.

Well I've just read the article, and there's nothing new here, at least as far as I can see. The interview with John Lennon was first published in Rolling Stone nearly 40 years ago and then reprinted in the book LENNON REMEMBERS, which was first published in 1970 and which has been reprinted many times. To give just one example, John's comments about the other Beatles' treatment of Yoko, quoted in this article as though they are some kind of new revelation, appear in LENNON REMEMBERS, on pages

67-68. Evidently, the memories of Rolling Stone's publishers are not quite so sharp these days ;) That must be the reason - after all, they couldn't possibly be trying to boost their circulation figures by rehashing an old, old story and trying to present it as something new - could they? ;)

If it just goes over Yoko then it's old news:(
