Macca's written some amazing songs, and I certainly think that Hey Jude is one of his finest. Incidentally, Absolute Radio Classic Rock played an hour's worth of Paul's greatest songs the other day (as a 67th birthday tribute to him), but included I Feel Fine - which as all true Beatles' fans should surely know, was written by John!

I love Hey Jude, and I read somewhere that it was actually written about John, and not John's son Julian. If you listen to the lyrics again, it really does make more sense this way. My favorite song by Sir Paul has to be 'I Will'. He wrote it for Linda, and no matter how many wives or girlfriends he has in his life, none will ever be loved as much as he loved Linda.
