Kaiser Chiefs

In 2005 I’d gone to Italy to see the Kaiser Chiefs, and in Rimini I’d met the band. At the Rome gig it came to ‘Oh My God’ and Ricky asked if anyone knew the words. I put my hand up like a crazy lady, Ricky beckoned me to the stage and announced I was going to sing it to the 600 capacity crowd! ‘Oh My God’ indeed!

My mind went totally blank. I whispered to Ricky for the first line, which he delivered and then vanished into the crowd. Cue major panic – I managed the first two verses and a chorus before nothing as my brain had turned to blancmange.
