Absolute Radio's First Birthday

Happy birthday to us!

We've reached our first birthday at Absolute Radio and naturally, we're celebrating in style. Absolute Radio were joined by Madness, who are celebrating their 30th birthday and the Regent Street Festival, celebrating its 10th birthday, for a birthday extravaganza!

For the first time, Regent Street was closed for traffic for a concert and Madness performed an exclusive gig for Absolute Radio, supported by Newton Faulkner, The Yeah You's, Theory of a Deadman, Jersey Budd and Scarlett & Viva. This special day raised money to support Cancer Research UK’s vital research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
