Why?
The UK's premier hard rock and heavy metal festival returns in 2008 for its sixth year at the long-time home of heavy metal, Donington Racetrack.
After attracting 80,000 people in 2007 to see such heavyweight headliners as My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden and Linkin Park, it has fast become the festival to be at if you like rock music.

Weekend tickets start at £130 from Ticketmaster.co.uk with camping and parking facilities available at extra cost. Donington Park is easily accessible from the M1 motorway or from East Midlands Airport.
Jimmy Eat World have now been confirmed for the Download festival.This follows on from their UK 'Chasing the Light' Tour which they are currently in the middle of.
