Absolute Radio: Discover real music

This album in my opinion the best album recorded under the Them monikor and by this time("68) Van Morrisson was a distant memory,this is the second album that Them had released while based in the US,this is a tour de force of acid psychedelia,brilliant from start to finish,"the title track"Time Out Time in For" starts the album of brilliantly with a sitar driven piece of catchy psych with very nice soulful vocals,"She Put a hex On You"is a groovy fuzzed up guitar driven piece of acid rock,"Bent over You"is another piece of fuzzed up guitar psych mixed with wah wah guitar but this time with a catchy harmonica put in the mix,"Waltz Of The Flies"is a catchy and a poppy piece of psych with it's excellent accoustic guitar part with a slight jazzy vibe to it,"Black widow Spider"is another fab piece of sitar driven psych,the vibe on this is full of mysticism,great stuff,"We've all Agreed to help"is a jaunty piece of swinging pop,"Market Place"is sodden with fuzzed up guitar and is a real groovy piece of acid pop,"Just On Conception"is trippy and mellow piece of ragarock with sitar to the fore once again,but done in a real tasteful way mixed with slightly treated vocals and tabla percussion,"Young Woman"is a solid piece of psych loaded with fuzzed up guitar,"The Moth"is a fabulous piece of music,loaded with Spanish like accoustic guitar and double tracked fuzzed guitar,a rather mellow piece but awesome,the final track of the actual album is"But Its Alright" which is an acid blues type track loaded with wailing fuzzed up guitar.The cd on Rev-ola has 8 bonus tracks,with 3 versions of "Square Room"which is a droning piece of fine psych with more than an eastern influence to it with gregorian like vocals and s versions of "Dirty Old Man"which is a catchy and lively piece of soulful summery like pop/psych,the other bonus tracks are "Corrina,a single version of "But Its alright and "Dark are The Shadows".Anyone into psych should really check out this album,you'll be pleasantly surprised!!
