The Temper Trap
Introducing...
On listening to The Temper Trap’s track ‘Sweet Disposition,’ you’d be forgiven for thinking that it sounds like early U2. Because it does. A wall of fuzzy atmospheric guitars, combined with lead singer Dougy’s emotive vocals, there’s no doubt in our minds that The Temper Trap sound great and are hot off the blocks to be superstars in 2009.

Bringing renown producer Jim Abbiss into the mix, Dougy, Jonny, Lorenzo and Toby recorded their debut album throughout 2008. Not sure who Jim Abbiss is? He’s worked with Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Massive Attack, Goldfrapp and Kasabian; that’s talent not to be sniffed at.
The Temper Trap have already had radio success in their native Australia and will be on tour throughout their homeland and the US in early 2009, we hope they pay a visit to the UK soon. Oh, and give us the debut album already! It’ll be out in 2009 apparently, but sooner rather than later would be great.
