What Beatles Remaster will you be buying first

In times of this recession, many beatles fans will not be buying the £170 beatles remasters boxset. so the other option, what album remaster will you be buying first? I'm thinking of rubber soul as it's the best of both beatles worlds.

No thanks. I tired of The Beatles being shoved in my face for the last month.

I absolutely adore The beatles and I will be buying the box sets.. possibly both of them but in the January sales ..not just now. An album I would buy seperate if I was going to would be Sgt Peppers just for the aural joy.

Seeing as the news reports say that the recession is over....... I would buy Rubber Soul and Sgt pepper. Would love to have them all at once but will have to make do with putting my collection together piece by piece

I was never a fan of the Beatles and now I'm sick of them! I wish Absolute would not keep playing them, it's ruining the radio for me and I've been straying away to listen to other things when they play full albums.

I love the Beatles and have all the CDs already. I certainly won't be replacing them all with these new editions, but will probably get one of the later albums to closely compare with the original and then decide. I have to say the pricing of the box sets is a bit odd, with the mono set of 13 discs being considerably more expensive than the stereo set which contains 17! And on the subject of pricing, its nice of Absolute Radio to offer us an exclusive tee-shirt, but a bit stingy to charge £2 more than all the other designs available. Come on guys!

I heard that the Mono versions are better than the Stereo versions?

Mono version is limited edition, and has different song cuts unlike the ones we have heard on the radio for years. I imagine the price is more than the Stereo version because of the authenticity of it (if that is possible after all these years) ??
