Shannon Noll
Introducing...
Already a massive hit down under, Shannon Noll was the runner-up in the first series of Australian Idol in 2003 and has racked up sales of over 1.5 million albums world-wide since then.
Behind the scenes, Shannon’s success has been a rags-to-riches tale that took him from being the son of sheep-shearers in a quiet tiny Australian outback town to being one of the most successful acts to have risen to fame from the TV series.
In fact, he’s had two number one singles, earned multi-platinum status with albums That's What I'm Talking About and Lift, plus numerous top five singles including three number one debuts and an additional seven single releases reaching the top 10. Phew!
After his success in his native Australia, Shannon’s bringing his rock-tinged pop to the UK with the release of his single ‘Shine’ – it’s on the
Absolute Radio Playlist at the moment. He’s also releasing a UK-only album What Matters The Most; you can find it in shops and to download from May 5.
Catch Shannon playing dates around the UK in June this year, he’s starring as Parson Nathaniel in Jeff Wayne's musical adaptation of
War Of The Worlds.
